Advanced Identification Skills for Grasses

This two-day workshop is intended to teach natural resource professionals the skills necessary to identify any New England grass species (Family Poaceae) using Gleason and Cronquist’s “Manual of Vascular Plants”, the only complete and accurate taxonomic key available for this family. A combination of lecture and laboratory instruction will be used to familiarize you with this challenging group. This workshop is for all experience levels, but some prior botanical experience is recommended

Leslie Adams is the instructor.
